DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY AND IMAGING - WEEK 5

WEEK 5 - 8 May 2023

Lecture Digital Photography and Imaging:

Lecture in week 5, I learned about photography and lighting. For example, exposure and lens perspective and these two are the compositions to produce good photos in good lighting because to get photos with the right light you have to be able to understand the exposure triangle which consists of iso, shutter, and aperture. And in addition, lens perspective is also important because lens perspective determines what object we photograph. For example, if you want to take a landscape photo, you should use a wide-angle lens, and vice versa if you want portrait bokeh, you should use a fixed lens or prime lens, such as 50mm with an aperture large like f/1.8, f/1.4

Tutorial Digital Photography and Imaging:

In this tutorial, I studied studio shooting and lighting. In particular, making DIY lighting can produce good light for the objects we photograph, such as light from the sun, light from modified study lamps using covers or colored paper, and many more. By using the right background and light, both small, medium, and large objects can be produced good photos.

Practical Digital Photography and Imaging:

In this practical, I was given the task of doing a digital imaging exercise using the Quick Selection Tool, Layer Mask, Filters, and Color Correction.
