WEEK 1 - 3 APRIL 2023
Lectures Digital Photography and Imaging:
The first week in the Digital Photography and Imaging class, Mr. Fauzi explained the things we should know, and the first is an introduction through digital photography and imaging itself through collage design, as well as other tasks such as making e-portfolios. Then the second is to see examples of the work of previous students who were extraordinarily creative and good. Furthermore, Mr. Fauzi gave directions and what needs to be prepared for the upcoming week 2 exercises regarding collage design and propositions.
Practical Digital Photography and Imaging:
Practical in the first week we are given the task of making an e-portfolio, pinterest board for digital photography & imaging, and displaying 3 favorite graphic design composition works from pinterest.

Description: This graphic design is very surreal when viewed at a glance because the appearance of the moons object shown is an illusion of several lanterns and the lighting results come from additional lights and the lights from the lanterns themselves. This photo can be said to be very pleasing to the eye where for me the results of the photoshopped moon and the lanterns are very well blended so it doesn't look fake. This photo conveys to viewers the impression that the moons can be changed in terms of color, brightness, and shape. In addition, in this photo the shadows are not too flashy so that the atmosphere of the sky and the foreground blend together in a dark environment or atmosphere so that the viewers can focus on the bright light from the moons.

Description: As usual, seeing surreal manipulation photos makes me amazed by someone's creativity. Like this photo from Vanessa Rivera showing her creativity using her son as a model. This photo shows a child fishing, but the atmosphere is changed towards a household where the room is used as the background and the basket is used as a boat. The highlights used are very realistic, light coming from the left side of the window and dark on the right for a very dramatic effect. In addition, extraordinary details such as the shadows of the water over the walls and surroundings give the impression of a room filled with water. And also the saturation and luminance of the blue water really matches the dark and bright conditions of the room.
Reflection: Today's activities are very basic but very useful because various accesses such as Pinterest and blogs like this allow me to explore further about digital photography and imaging ideas and I can upload them via my blog later.
